Ecovillages - Communities in Harmony
Ecovillages are intentional communities organized to be ecologically, economically and socially sustainable and harmonious. Size varies from a few dozen to over 100 inhabitants, with some larger communities (as many as 2000) existing as networks of smaller sub-communities. Ecovillagers are united by common values and the common goal of minimal ecological impact and maximal positive community effect.
